Healthy, vibrant communities Learning Communities. Community Education contributes to this vibrancy by providing opportunities for all ages to Learn, Serve, and Thrive. Community Education partners with business, civic, and community organizations to create lifelong learning and service opportunities for individuals, families, and neighborhoods.
Child Care Services
Provides before and after school childcare for area families as well as childcare for Waukee school district employees.
Waukee Academy
K-12 students can enjoy a variety of fun and education classes after school, in the evening, and on the weekends.
Continuing Education
Offers evening and weekend classes for adults and in some instances all-ages.
Parent University
Classes designed specifically for parents.
Facility Reservation
Schedules the use of district facilities before and after school, during evenings, weekends, and school breaks.
Silver Cord
Service learning program that provides students with opportunities to serve their community.
Waukee University
A partnership between Waukee Community Education, Heartland AEA, and Drake University that provides professional development opportunities for educators.
