Maple Grove Elementary

Overview

We are so excited to be a part of the community and happy to be able to serve our students and parents. Maple Grove is a beautiful and spacious facility that will host approximately 700 preschool through fifth grade students. In addition to a strong core academic, social and emotional programs, our school offers additional support services in the areas of Reading Lab, Special Education, Extended Learning, and English as a Second Language. Along with the other elementary buildings in our district, we have a strong emphasis on meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction and research-based practices.

We believe that through teaching, modeling, and practicing, Maple Grove Elementary students will show good character by demonstrating safe, caring, respectful, and responsible behaviors. We also believe that by acknowledging and recognizing students when they demonstrate those core values, will promote continued positive behavior.

Every year brings new faces to Maple Grove and we continue to have excellent teachers and support staff, committed to using a collaborative approach to provide a safe and respectful learning environment that promotes and embraces growth for all learners. Our staff and students value the wonderful support of our families, the dedication of our volunteers, and the resources provided by our community. We are very proud to be a part of the Waukee Community School District!
