Prairieview is a very special place filled with extraordinary people!

Our staff is determined and committed to creating an environment that is inviting and safe. We work diligently at meeting the needs of our students. You will find that we push students to take ownership of their learning while providing the guidance that they need. We are determined to help our students develop great problem solving skills that will serve them well in this ever-changing world. We also recognize that it grows increasingly important for students to have the ability to sort information and be able to identify valuable resources for their learning. We are very fortunate to have three computer labs available for our students use. We also utilize a classroom set of iPod Touches.

Our professional development focuses on various aspects of differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners. We continue to work at establishing essential objectives, formative and summative assessments as well as providing all learners with materials and instruction that will move their learning forward.

Our students are finding out who they are and who they want to become. It’s an amazing journey and we will do our best to provide them an environment where they can thrive.
